After an extremely successful reboot in 2022, ANGA COM is this year once again the most influential event in our industry.

Therefore, we are very pleased to welcome you again in Cologne at our booth B10 in hall 8 from May 23rd to 25th. This year, in addition to our proven coaxial technology solutions, new 1,8 GHz passive distribution technology and active optical systems, we will be presenting two highlights in particular:

• The new CommScope Compact Node DC2180 enables Remote PHY, Remote MACPHY as well as FTTH with a Remote OLT using various modules. We will present all three solutions at our booth and cordially invite you to a live presentation!
• WAVEPACE’s passive fiber solutions have also seen a great deal of activity in recent months. We put this year’s focus especially on the MDU Wallbox XL, a network level 3 termination point for up to 144 splices and 72 ports, the 2-door Wallbox with Open Access suitability and the brand new FTTH subscriber outlet FWO-X1, which is suitable for all mounting options with its compact dimensions (only 80 x 80 x 29 mm) and integrated splice protection holder for crimp, heat shrink and Micro Smouv.

URBANA TELEUNION Rostock deploys new 2-door WAVEPACE wall box for FTTH rollout with braun teleCom as partner

As the largest private cable network operator in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, URBANA TELEUNION Rostock GmbH & Co. KG serves several thousand residential units of various housing associations, both with HFC technology and increasingly with fiber optics. In addition to resource-optimized expansion, the open-access capability of the network level 3 termination is an important requirement here. Under the BTV Multimedia brand WAVEPACE, a wall box for terminating network level 3 was therefore developed within just six months together with the operating partner braun teleCom, in which the splice and patch area are separately and independently accessible as well as lockable.
